Dear Physician:

As breastfeeding becomes the norm again in our society, physicians and their office staff are being called upon to provide breastfeeding education and advice, and to manage breastfeeding problems. Most of us have had little to no medical school or residency training in the natural history or management of breastfeeding. Although educational opportunities are increasingly available at local, regional and national conferences, the timing or content may not have met your specific needs.

The San Diego County Breastfeeding Coalition is offering up-to-date lactation education programs for you and your staff, in your office and at your convenience. The presenters are skilled breastfeeding experts: physicians, nurses, dietitians, lactation educators and consultants. Options for customizing your program are on the following page.
