• Mission Statement: Promote breastfeeding as optimal nutrition in a supportive community environment where women are empowered to choose to breastfeed through consistent, accurate information from health care providers, hospitals, and other community resources.

• Breastfeeding Welcome Here Campaign - encourage local business to be breastfeeding friendly by displaying a decal in their window.
• Prop 10 Grant for breastfeeding education for physicians, health care providers, PNs, PHNs, and medical support staff. Continuing education credits were provided.
• Encourage and support Baby Friendly status for the local hospital.
• Developed a breastfeeding support resource list for health care providers.
