Lactation consultants, nurses, La Leche League Leaders, Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) nutritionist, WIC (Women, Infants and Children) nutritionist, health educators, physicians, midwives, and anyone interested in furthering breastfeeding promotion and education.

• Meets every 4 - 6 weeks
• Mission:
  1. Redefine breastfeeding as the highest quality standard of care for infant feeding for the entire health care community.
  2. Educate and empower women to choose breastfeeding.
  3. Create accessible peer support and follow-up education for women and their families to experience success.
  4. Promote breastfeeding friendly communities, environments and awareness.
  5. Bring together a network of breastfeeding professionals and advocates, both lay and professionals, to work together.

• Support "Baby Friendly status" for local hospitals
• Increase breastfeeding images in hospitals, at WIC, and in the community
• Educate health care providers
• Obtained grant money to create a peer counseling program.
